(= election results for our positions in our soon-to-come senior year has been announced. softball treasurer and richard house comm secretary cum treasurer. see the link? lol. but its sad that all the transactions are made via giro x) then i dont need to dirty my fingers handling much hard cash eh. hahah. needless to say will be quite busy next year, not that im not busy this year already lol. not holding many positions like some superwomen in rg, but still sometimes i am up to my ear in work. needs a breather occasionally. mm.

quite surprised at softball election results... shant say more, shall i? on the day the results were to be revealed (tuesday 20 sept) chris very nonchantly informed me during rs block that she already knew all the positions in the committee but absolutely refused to divulge any more information, even to the inquiry as to the source of her knowledge. obviously, one's curiosity would be aroused, however it was further piqued when i found out that liping and yuezhen also already knew all the comm members. nicola and i were whining all through the time with yz and ping before training albeit the two's annoying insistence upon the point that we would all soon know and there was no need for them to inform us prematurely. my active mind began to form some conclusions - premature, i admit- which only later served to disappoint. however there is gladness to be drawn upon one fact, and that is a secret that i would pick for myself to keep. one must guard one's privacy, is it not? =)

things are going on as they usually are, but in my non-academic life i guess there are some chapters of it that have closed and new ones have opened. i confess i do miss some of them and that my life right now is rather on the tasteless side. nothing much to be happy about nowadays, just gotta remember from Sunday School and preacher John MacArthur that real joy has to be based on your faith in God - in His unchanging love, in His plan for you. i guess its really hard sometimes for a Christian to keep believing that God will lead and guide him no matter what he is going through because of the continuous distractions in this world that Satan and his demons are hurling at us in a bid to turn us away from our Creator. sometimes we even hurt our Heavenly Father greatly when we join non-believers in sin and we must recognize these possible situations as true Christians and endeavour to flee from these situations. we must also stand firm and uncompromising when non-Christians or even fellow brethren make heretical remarks that we know to be untrue of God. if we are ashamed of Jesus before man, He will be ashamed of us before the Heavenly Father. this is in the Bible. fellow Christians, stand up for Jesus and truely believe and depend on Him for only He is our one and only true Saviour and Lord! fear God and not man. dont be afraid to lose or offend friends in taking a stand for Christ. i assure you that it is worse for that "friend" who rejects and even worse, insults Christ, than you who has just lost a friend. God will punish. Leave vengeance to Him. meanwhile, continue to preserve your Christian testimony and give glory to God. remember, all things work out for the good of those who love Him.

alright. enough of blogging. i feel much better now (= thank God. i hope i'll be a good witness for Him. first thing on my list: ------ ---- --------. yeps, alrights byebye.

i am so happy todaayy (= today is a day when nothing went wrong -beams- and fanfan agrees with me! so im corroborated okay lol.

the day started with a high note. when i was walking in to school, i was wondering why on earth i was falling backwards. had my CG suddenly tipped? i almost made my decision to weigh myself once i reached home when the grinning visage of xianhui appeared beside me. realisation dawned.... the sun rose.....

okay lame. anyway, i asked her to follow me up to class to compare the phone covers i bought for her to choose. then as we neared d block the blasted bell rang >< so we had to part our ways and agreed to meet after morning assembly.

then spotcheck in the parade square -_- renu rocks!! renu rocks!! she's our class prefect and she just walks down our class looking nonchalantly, not even bothering to pull out her ominous prefect's notebook out from her pocket. i dont think she even booked anybody man. in contrast, if some other booking machine had come strutting down the aisle book in hand, i would have probably been booked for something. if a mismatched belt was bookable, i would be the first target x) i wore a faded blue belt with a dark navy blue pinafore today lol. obviously i woke up late and rushed through my preparations hahahaha. -grins

my stomachache is gone. fresh in its place is a headache bent on making its presence really felt. oh wow, what a wonderful day to pass a friday -.- just drank coffee in the hope that the stupid headache will go away faster. now trying to study philo hahas. obviously not working when your head is throbbing eh. mms.

hahahs. here i am blogging again! i dunno why i am here though >< doing physics pt. quite early, i know, but i dont have any time next weekend, so better finish the bulk of it this weekend first. oh yeah, plus mug for physics and ss eois. pfft. heard there's another chem pt in store for us. and the sec twos and fours have no more pts whatsoever for the rest of the year lah! lucky pigs. bleaghs.

sighs. am sick ): got flu. it started off as just a case of sniffles, then progressed to affecting my singing today >< was rather unprepared for call to worship. and during worship, uncle paul ang kept choosing songs that have high f in them >< cannot reach! can if i screech lah. but cos of call to worship then was sitting right in front, so cannot screech lah heehee. lols.

right. i have nothing to say. went to "mug" with lingxi and fanfan on friday for physics, ended up playing monopoly >< needless to say it wasnt very fruitful. hahas. nothing could go in sias. and i thought mugging with fanfan was useful. i mugged with her for bio, woah was it productive. im quite sure my bio will pass =) maybe it was cos of lingxi. hahahs.

mms. sighs. heard prisciLLA's down with dengue fever. poor thing ): GET WELL SOON! anyway i have to take over her duties for the time that she's recovering lah. hms. hope no more casualties come from our class. oh and apparently nicole's coming back right? hahas. great.

mm hah next sat is crazy for me. got youth science conference, then have to rush to church for the capt's ball league. my team almost killed me when they heard that i may not be able to make it for the league lah. johannes was like, "without you we have no more striker save isaac!" hahas. actually quite true. if nat captain, jeremy defender, then only isaac and i are the only suitable attackers. our defence have to leave to johannes hannah alicia and chrystal le (= hehs. we're wearing blue! yay go richard! x)

woots! aces and teachers day celebrations today! aces was fun! [EDIT] it was also fun cos zishanshan was beside me! xD lol. we were making stupid remarks about the "up up back stretch" thing where we couldnt reach for our left arms and then we were like "shoot later the juniors (behind us) see we cannot reach and laugh at us how" hahaha. so retarded. [/EDIT] its the FIRST time that my batch is actually up there in front of the stage x) finally we get some recognition and prestige huh. haha that sounded so snobbish but aniwae. they always bully our batch one! every celebration also put us at stuffy tiring place one! like teachers day celebrations right after aces where we were standing at the third floor trying to scream down at mrs anis and ms wu to ask thiock up on stage to dance -.- but they didnt hear a single thing. gosh so retarded. and somemore it isnt nice. the sec one celebrations was the best ever. imagine chris slatter parading around as wolverine, or zhang hao as zhu ying tai. scandalous i tell you. and they were all so amusing. sighs. this year, its mostly student performances, and only the part where jtoh was going crazy on stage dancing and singing "superstitious" [he is a pretty good singer, i admit] we were also all going crazy and screaming in support of him. he was arguably the highlight of the whole event. haha. sorry to psb but yah, you kinda screwed up teachers day celebs this year. not that im blaming anyone though. natday wasnt very interesting either.

then went back to rulang with yangzhe and lingxi. hahas were the first then saw the teachers streaming out of the staffroom to go into the hall. lol spotted mdm ong first and she was like "hi!" to yangzhe cos she saw her first, then she skipped lingxi i dunno why hahaa and then she came to me and squeezed my face and said "you changed alot!"  then she walked on abit before turning back and said "gen-evieve right!" then i was like YAY YOU REMEMBERED MY NAME! hahahah. okay nevermind. i think of all teachers in rulang i would be most grateful to mdm ong cos without her i wouldnt have gone on to 5R/6R, which then under the guidance of mrs chan i came to rg. yeah. foundation's always the most important. therefore mdm ong was my best teacher in rulang! haha. but mrs chan! she rocks too! lol. i can imagine fanfan's face screwing up in disgust when she sees this. lol.

never know what to put in the titles. who reads them, anyway? just taking up space or acting mainly as an item of division between entries huh. sighs.

had postmortem for natday today. it was mainly a gorging feast x) ms tong was SO generous. banana cake, butter cake, justea, egg tarts, chicken pies, chocolates.... not to mention that i have broken my solemn vow to myself not to snack between meals, i invariably did today, thanks to the dreariness of the whole meeting as well as the tempting food. GAH!! kimberly tho!!!!! why did you eat so much!! right in front of me somemore. grrr. tempt me izit. hurhs.

then now she's treating us to lunch the sat during the sept hols. howwwwwww. im eating so much and exercising so little. it will be chao difficult to regain my former physique when normal training resumes. gah i better go for weight training. sighs. i bet my next year fat percentage will be like, what, 20%?????????? i will die okay. i have made a resolution to shrink it to 17%. howhowhow. ARGHHHH.

on a happier note, richard won interhouse softball =DD OH YAH. speaking of richard, we have a newly minted class pet. it was my bday prezzie. Its a pandan-coloured chick with yellow legs and a yellow beak and carrying an egg which was half torn off by dunno who and its name is..... *drumrolls* RICHARD CHEEKOPEK. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. sssssshhhhh. dont tel anyone. its a secretttt. xDD and guess who came up with this ingenious name. no other than the slightly deranged person sitting at perfectly 90 degrees from me, and the most illegal prefect i have ever known, yiwenwong =D i think she is very bored during classes. the last time i had a stuffed toy from cat, she kidnapped it and gave it a shelter (which was actually papers folded together) and she and lydia even cut out clothes for the pig from wrapping paper WHAHAHS. and today she was hugging cheekopek all the way to the toilet when she decided it was too smelly to bring cheekopek in and she stood outside hugging it when who else but anselm chu and tay su chin came along and stared at this PB EXCO MEMBER standing next to the toilet entrance staring blankly out at A block arms tightly wound around a green chick which was in turn grasping a white egg. imagine the look of incredulity on their faces. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH i cant hold it in anymore!! -falls off the chair-

i am going crazy someone tell me why am i still up at this hour i should be sleeping cos your skin rejuvenates between 10pm to 2am and now its nearly 11 ahhhh why is there so much to study and there are FOUR tests next week ahh im so gonna dieeeeeee

and now my mum has gone to ban me from going to batch sleepover cos she says "you have so little sleep these days! look at how unwilling you are to wake up every morning! at the sleepover you definitely will not get enough sleep one! dont go dont go!"

aces sucks. its so difficult to follow. and the high impact song sucks too. i like the others though. haha.

haha today was/is still a happy day! =D tried to smile and be high even though i didnt sleep well the past few nights (but then again, who in upper sec in rgs ever has a chance to sleep early) and yeah glad to say it paid off. lessons were as usual, boring and sapping alot of brain power, but yeah, when you got supportive friends around you all going through the same thing, grouching about stuff together, asking stupid questions together, answering stupid answers together, and basically doing everything together, you dont feel so bad after all do you? x) especially when your seating partners are zishan and rachc lol they make the most amusing seating partners of all! hahaa. with felgoh my didi further down the row and prisci the blur on my left, lessons become more bearable, somehow. mm.

thanks to all who gave me presents! i really appreciate you all remembering and making the effort to get the prezzie, write notes, and wrap, etc etc. =D and thanks to all those who remembered too and wished me, im really grateful. haha im the kind of person who doesn't really put much emphasis on birthdays, maybe cos of my dad's influence i guess. he's the kind who goes "birthday birthday lah. big deal!" when we try to organise some form of celebration for him on his birthday. yeps but im really glad cos all of you brightened up my day today =) im usually dao and glum cos i lose alot of sleep these days but yeah i'l try to look more happy lah! hahah. i sound stupid though. but then, as lichen the lichen always says, "since when have you never sounded stupid?" lol.

yeah. thought i'l pass my birthday quietly and thoughtfully. turned out i got a big prezzie on my table the first thing i got to school =) and then lingxi who has been my classmate/schoolmate for like, close to 6 years [lingxi cant count though x] passed me this uber cute wooden person with a spastic smile on its face with a note attached. haha. and the heart-shaped box too. heh. prezzies and wishes then continued coming =) shall not be exhibitionist but right now i just want to say i LOVE ALL of you who made my day by actually bothering to sms/wish me personally/gimme prezzies thank you so much for making my day and i promise to not be such a grouch. hahaha. okay i sound delirious. hms and i shall pass the com to my brother now lah. poor thing has been waiting for so long. i shall be a good sis and not bully him x) have a nice day! or whats left of it haha. i had a wonderful day today.
